Well on Saturday I got my new Sony 40inch TV. Man it is so good and big. I can now hook up my computer to it and watch all the NZTV that I have been downloading. It is so great to catch up on NZTV.
Next is to hook up some really nice speakers to it so that I blast the neighbours with it. hehe

Shizuoka Kytes first practice of the year.
Well it was a coldish but sunny day in Shizuoka city. All the boys that said they would be there at 11am to help with some work on the ground were nowhere to be seen, but this is very typical of kytes players.
Anyway, when everyone finally turned up we were able to have a nice relaxing practice. Of course everyone was rusty from a long winter break but that was to be expected.
After the practice we moved to the warmer kytes club house and got down to business, well after the beers had came. After a lot of talking, alot of yes, no's, and that sounds good but.... we finally finished and were on our way homes.
It was a good day and lets just hope that our season goes the same.
photos to come.......

The Family Trip to Tokyo
Well we started off around 6pm on Sunday night. Everything was going very smoothly until we hit Kanagawa Prefecture ( the prefecture in between Shizuoka and Tokyo) We smashed in to the biggest traffic jam i have even been in. 25 kms long. it took ages to get to Tokyo.
Well we arrived there around 11pm and checked into the hotel and then we and picked up Keiko and Tetsuro to go out for dinner. We had curry for dinner and at the same restaurant that Ayako and I would eat at when we came to Tokyo a few years back. Monday we all got a early and drove to Ueno to go to the museum that is showing the Te Papa Maori exhibition. It was good to see ..... to be continued
here are some photo that i have uploaded so far ----------> HERE

Well we had our new year party last night. we gave out awards to people who scored the most runs (me) and took the most wickets (Ben) and was the best fielder ( Sharpy) We also gave some other funny awards to others who we thought did something funny or stupid over the season. After almost 3 hours of drinking we moved to Our Boozer to finish off the night.

U2 LIVE IN SAITAMA!
WOW what a concert that was. Myself, Matt S, Kat and Joel drove to Yokohama and then trained to Saitama to watch U2. It was my first time to be inside the stadium but my second time to see. The first time was way back in NZ at Lancaster Park, where i was helping the cricket club sell hotdogs and stuff outside the stadium. It was good to finally see them in person.
MT Fuji - 3776m
Mt fuji looking good with some snow on top and the usual cloud hanging around. On my way to saitama to see U2.

Cricket - NZ v OZ
well the game started off great as nz restricted oz to 240/9 which was pretty good and had some of my australian friends thinking that nz would win.
but then came the nz batting and down down down we went. 35/6 wow it was over before it started and if it wasnt for our long tail then maybe we would have been bowled out for less than 50. well done to the tail, vittori, mills and oram for batting nz into a position to win and bad luck for not quite making it.
my australian friends went from shit we are going to loose this game to, what an arse kicking to, this is going to be a close one.
funny game cricket is.
so now australia go into the final against either south africa or west indies. i think oz will take this one but it will be a great final to watch.

What a week of sport to come?!
hi there everyone. sorry its been a couple of weeks since my last post. i would like to say it was because i was busy but sadly no. it was because i am lazy.
so you must ask yourself why is he posting now then, will that is easy.
sports.......
firstly tonight - New Zealand vs Australia in a semi final game in the ICC champions Trophy.
wow what a game this is going to be. even though NZ hasn't beaten the Australian cricketing machine in a while, i still think we have a chance. why? because we are playing good cricket at the moment and have just beaten both South Africa and Pakistain in previous game in the ICC trophy, and on top of that we have won this tournament before and Australia hasn't. anyway it should be a great game.
secondly this sunday night - the All Blacks vs England in rugby.
Eng has only beaten NZ 7 or 8 times out of 30 or so games in rugby history. NZ is 1st in the world now, Eng is the current world cup holders (which was 3 years ago and since then they have gone one way, down. they are now 6th in the world)
but even though the ABs are No 1 and have only lost like 5 games since the last world cup and England have so many injuries to their top players and that their record since the last world cup is like crap (i think they have only won like 5-10 games out of like 30 games) they still think they can win. this is something that i really hate about the English and i am sure this is why they are one of the greatest nations in the world but that doesn't mean they have the right or the arrogance (maybe some ignorance too) to think that they can beat us.
the only thing stopping us from putting on 50 points (yes 50 points) would be the lack of game play our top players have had over the last several weeks and one of those northern referees trying to control the game like he knows what he is doing. aka NZ v Eng last year.
Go New Zealand/ All Blacks
